Toilet Paper Packaging
Project type
Packaging Design
The traditional packaging for toilet paper is solely made of LDPE which is not recyclable in common curbside pickups. Therefore, this design implements a 100% paperboard package that is recyclable meshing function and design.

Toilet Paper Box
This packaging utilizes paperboard to create a completely recyclable structure. The box has two key features with a cut out for dispensing toilet paper on the right and a cut out to create a toilet paper holder on the top.

Graphic Box in Use
Here the features are in use. This product can be placed in bathroom storage for easy dispensing and no use of holder. However, with the holder in use, this packaging can be used directly next to the toilet.

Dieline
This dieline is simple and condensed for less waste in production.

Side View and Opening
The side view showcases how the toilet paper is stored in the box before dispensing. As each roll is taken, another roll is pushed to the front.

Top View and Functional Paper Roll Holder
The top cut out allows the consumer to use this box directly next to the toilet with a toilet paper holder. This is a key feature for bathrooms with limited space and renter friendly bathrooms with no allowance for drilling a holder on the wall.

Inspiration for Packaging
Similar to tissue paper, the box has simple and colorful graphics. This encourages the consumer to keep the box on display next to the toilet.
